Canseco brothers liable in nightclub fight lawsuit

MIAMI — Former baseball star Jose Canseco and his twin brother Ozzie were told to pay more than $1 million in damages after a jury ruled against them again Tuesday in a lawsuit from two men who were beaten up by the brothers four years ago.
The jury awarded the victims nearly $300,000 in punitive damages Tuesday, a day after ruling the Cansecos should pay more than $700,000 in compensatory damages. Christian Presley and Alan Cheeks sued for injuries they suffered during a fight on Halloween 2001 at the Opium Garden nightclub in Miami Beach...
