Tuesday, October 25, 2011 | 6:00 p.m.
Over the next several days, high tide levels will be at the highest of the year. High tides may cause unusual flooding in low elevations. High tides occur twice a day, usually about 12 hours apart. Any flooding should subside with low tide.

As a precaution, the parking and inside lane of Alton Road between 9 and 11 streets will be closed in anticipation of pooled water in the flood prone area.
